Joe is an experienced financial services professional, he has a deep understanding and solid experience in the banking sector, with more than 18 years’ with leading local and global banking and financial institutions.
Joe’s committed to service delivery, innovation and responsiveness are attributes which are complementary to LegalStream’s operations, as well as his extensive knowledge and understanding of the competitive markets and regulatory environment in which our lender clients operate.
Prior to joining LegalStream, Joe’s career included senior positions with Citigroup and Credit Suisse First Boston and, most recently, as Head of Equities Investor and Corporate Sales for ANZ Global Markets. He holds a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.

As Chief Operating Officer, Effie Turk brings to LegalStream a career involved in significant transformational work across the banking and business process outsourcing (BPO) sectors.
Over the past 20 years, Effie has gathered invaluable experiences and skills from senior nationally focused roles held on both sides of the mortgage value chain within prominent banking and BPO organisations. A person who thrives in fast-paced deadline-driven environments, Effie is driven by data, using analytics to shape her decision-making.
At the same time, Effie has mastered the art of leading people, particularly during periods of change. She has worked as a coach and mentor to a broad network of professionals.
Caroline Younis

Caroline Younis is Chief Legal Officer and a Director of LegalStream Pty Ltd.
From meticulously managing property and finance matters both transactional and litigation to liaising with regulatory bodies, Caroline brings extensive experience to LegalStream. Her deep knowledge of the Real Property Act, the Conveyancing Act and the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 is an invaluable asset for both our team and our clients.
Prior to joining LegalStream, Caroline enjoyed a lengthy and varied career with First American Title, commencing as a Solicitor and Claims Counsel, before progressing her career through the positions of Corporate Counsel and General Counsel and Business Operations Manager. More recently, Caroline had chief responsibility for managing the title insurance claims and underwriting teams. In that role, she led a litigated claim through to the High Court which is now a test case in Australia on the proportionate liability regime.
