Our process is overseen by an experienced dedicated team of mortgage and property professionals, with experience across a wide range of property types. 

Our Property Presenting process and team are supported by purpose built IT systems that offer lenders full transparency via MStream, LegalStream’s secure website. Lenders are always informed and in control of the process with information available in real time and customisable reporting for individual properties, client groups or a ‘bird’s eye view’ of an entire Mortgagee in Possession portfolio.

Independent, always

LegalStream has a growing database of more than 3,000 real estate agents around Australia but remain independent with no affiliation to any one group. The total independence of our Property Presenting services from real estate agents, maintenance companies and other contractors ensures our clients receive value for money, transparency and protection against FOS complaints.

Property presenting services

LegalStream’s Property Presenting service for lenders includes:

  • occupancy and curb-side evaluation reports
  • effective and legally correct notices to tenants
  • attending evictions and securing vacant possession with a locksmith and transport, as required
  • serving as the lender’s representative throughout the mortgagee sales process including, valuation, property cleaning, repairs and rubbish removal, appointment of real estate agent and monitoring the marketing process to a successful sales conclusion
  • comprehensive and continuous reporting, invoices, photographs and a property expense ledger made available online, via MStream, our secure website.

Additionally, Lenders have the benefit of outsourcing greater parts of the mortgagee process to LegalStream, including delegated signing power and all dealings with panel suppliers, the Mortgage Insurer, the agency agreement and the contract for sale.
