Our 48 team members, based in Sydney, have an average of 15 years' industry experience, typically developed in a banking or legal environment. (formerly Burkhart & Company).   Since taking over full-time management in the late 1980s, Rosanne has developed LegalStream from a small law stationer to a leading Legal Agent and Legal Corporation, providing mortgage settlement processing services to financial institutions, while retaining our original solicitor client base. Rosanne is well known for her initiatives in designing new and innovative service products. She works closely with LegalStream clients to achieve productive business partnerships and measurable results. Peter Nicholson Inhouse Legal Counsel pnicholson@legalstream.com.au Peter is a Director and Inhouse Legal Counsel of LegalStream Pty Ltd. Previously in private legal practice, Peter then moved into the banking industry in management roles in credit assessment and retail and business lending with the National Australia Bank. With two decades experience as a banking industry “insider”, Peter understands how to safeguard lenders’ interests. Peter supervises our team of paralegals dedicated to handling finance transactions and provides pragmatic legal back-up for operational needs, credit code and other regulatory compliance. He has the experience and background to make astute judgement calls, on the spot, at moments that matter. Peter has invaluable experience in developing IT systems and back office mortgage processing, through his work with LegalStream since 1991 and, before that, with Commonwealth Bank of Australia and RAMS Home Loan Corporation.
